The Meta Sum ("We," "Our," "Us," or "Company") built the Bite Admin mobile application ("App") as a dedicated restaurant management platform. The App allows restaurant owners and their authorized staff to register their business, manage menus, handle incoming orders, and track active deliveries carried out through the Bite Rider platform.

This page informs restaurant users and their representatives about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when using our Service.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. All information collected is used to provide, maintain, and improve the services offered through our platform. To enable restaurant registration and order management, we collect the following information from restaurant owners and authorized staff members:

• Restaurant name, business address, contact number, and email address (for registration, verification, and communication)
• Owner or manager full name and phone number (for account ownership and support)
• Restaurant logo, cover image, and category details (for display on the customer-facing Sum Bite platform)
• Menu items including names, descriptions, prices, and food images (for populating your restaurant's menu in the ordering platform)
• Operating hours and availability settings (to manage when your restaurant accepts orders)
• Order history and transaction records (for business reporting, dispute resolution, and service improvement)
• Device and usage data (for App performance monitoring and security purposes)

All collected information is stored securely on our servers. We do not share any restaurant or personal data with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any external commercial purpose.

Restaurant Registration and Profile Data

When a restaurant registers on Bite Admin, the information provided is used to create and manage a verified restaurant profile on our platform. This includes business details, menu configuration, and contact information. The profile data entered by the restaurant is stored on our servers and displayed to customers through the Sum Bite ordering app to facilitate food and grocery orders.

Restaurants are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate, up to date, and does not violate any third-party rights. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that provide false or misleading information.

Menu Management

Restaurant users can create, update, and remove menu items through the App. Menu content including item names, descriptions, pricing, availability, and food images is stored on our servers and served to customers via the Sum Bite platform. Restaurants have full control over their menu at all times through the App.

Order Management

The App provides restaurants with real-time order management capabilities. Through the App, restaurant users can:

• Receive new orders placed by customers through the Sum Bite app, with full order details including items, quantities, and customer delivery address.
• Accept or reject orders based on availability, capacity, or operational constraints. Rejected orders are communicated back to the customer through the platform.
• Update order status at each stage of preparation (e.g., confirmed, being prepared, ready for pickup) to keep customers informed in real time.

Order records including item details, timestamps, and status history are retained on our servers for operational tracking, reporting, and dispute resolution purposes. Customer delivery addresses included in orders are visible to the restaurant solely for the purpose of confirming and preparing the correct order and are not stored separately or used for any other purpose.

Live Delivery Tracking

Once an order is prepared and handed over to a delivery rider through the Bite Rider app, Bite Admin allows the restaurant to monitor the live delivery status and track the assigned rider's progress toward the customer's address.

• Rider location data is visible to the restaurant only during an active delivery associated with their order.
• This tracking capability is provided to help restaurants confirm successful dispatch and delivery of their orders.
• Rider location data is not stored by Bite Admin and is only accessible in real time during an active delivery.

Push Notifications

The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) by Google to deliver real-time push notifications to restaurant users. These notifications may include:

• New incoming order alerts
• Order cancellations or modifications by customers
• Rider assignment and pickup confirmations
• Important platform announcements or operational updates

Firebase FCM uses a unique device token to route notifications to your device. This token is managed securely within our system and is not shared with any external party. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services for specific technical functions. These services do not receive restaurant business data or personal data beyond what is strictly required for their designated purpose:

• Google Play Services
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — Push Notifications
• Google Maps Platform — Delivery Tracking & Map Display

Log Data

In the event of an error or crash in the App, we may collect technical diagnostic information referred to as Log Data. This may include your device model, operating system version, IP address, the time and date of the error, and other technical statistics used solely to identify and resolve technical issues. Log Data is never used for profiling or any commercial purpose.

Cookies

Bite Admin does not use cookies directly within the App. Third-party services such as Firebase and Google Maps may use cookies or similar technologies as part of their own operations. You may manage these preferences through your device settings.

Data Storage and Security

All restaurant information, menu data, and order records are stored securely on our servers using encryption and access control measures. We apply appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

Access to restaurant accounts is protected by credentials chosen by the account holder. We strongly recommend using a strong, unique password and keeping your login details confidential. We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from compromised credentials on the user's part.

Data Retention

Restaurant registration data, menu information, and order history are retained for as long as the restaurant account remains active on the platform. If a restaurant requests account deactivation or deletion, we will remove the associated data from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required for legal, regulatory, or legitimate operational reasons such as financial record-keeping and dispute resolution.
